Possibly the most exciting and innovative aspect of the brand's 2023 dishwasher innovation is the brand-new PowerControl spray arm technology, which will be featured in the Bosch 800 series and Benchmark series dishwashers.

This new feature works to deliver targeted, powerful cleaning results on any section of the bottom rack that you choose, resulting in dishes that get a 30% better cleaning performance. So those casserole trays with caked-on stains can benefit from the treatment of a specialized spray arm for seriously clean results—no pre-rinsing required.

Bosch's Home Connect app wants to make daily dish chores less of a headache.

We've lauded Bosch's Home Connect app in the past for its ability to conveniently streamline things like remote functionality, alerts, and automations with the brand's large and small appliances.

Now the app is expanding its functionality further, with upgrades like its new Smart Cycle feature. This allows users to customize each unique cycle they run, so they can be confident their dishes will come out clean every time (without wasting energy and water).

Upon launching Smart Cycle feature, users will be asked three questions: What items are you washing?, How dirty are your dishes?, and What are your priorities with this load? From there, the appliance will work its own magic, offering guidance to achieve the best results with minimal effort.

The Home Connect app also works to keep homes safe in the unlikely event of a leak, immediately notifying the user via the app and using AquaStop technology to shut down dishwasher operations and pump the water out on its own.

Plus, the Home Connect app offers additional convenient features to streamline everyday tasks, like hands-free voice control, notifications when the cycle is complete, and even the ability to automatically re-order detergent when you're running low.
